Sid Moore, M.D.
Dr. Sid Moore is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and chief LASIK surgeon at the Eye Center of Central Georgia. He has been in practice at the Eye Center since 1989 and has been performing refractive surgery since 1992.
He specializes in LASIK and all forms of refractive surgery, and cataract surgery.
Dr. Moore was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Mississippi in 1981 where he was awarded the Taylor Medal in Biology and the Culley Memorial Award for the top premedical student at the University of Mississippi. Four years later Dr. Moore graduated Summa Cum Laude from the prestigious University of Mississippi School of Medicine where he served as President of the Student Body and received the Waller S. Leathers Award for the highest academic average in medical school. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1989 where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Moore is President of the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology, the immediate Past President of the Georgia Society of Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Past President of the Bibb County Medical Society, a member of the Board of Directors and Council on Legislation at the Medical Association of Georgia, and also holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sid Moore is a highly experienced LASIK and cataract surgeon and is a dedicated advocate for his patients achieving 20/20 vision or better. His skill, qualifications, commitment, and experience have earned him a unique reputation for excellence and service to his community.
